Thorold has a wonderful mix of historic sites, hiking trails and parks. Similar to St.Catharines, Thorold is a primarily urban area and wouldn’t be our first choice for country home buyers. Thorold has seen plenty of housing development, many of which houses students attending Brock University (as you will be able to see from the largest age group information below – primarily a younger demographic, likely due to the University).

If you really wanted to find a country home in Thorold, your best bet for rural living would be around Port Robinson where you can find wide-open spaces and large homes on private lots. Pockets of the Beaverdams area may also offers country homes to purchase.
